Orlando Magic get punked in Game 6 - Season Over and we break down the needs of the Magic!

Only Dwight Howard came with the energy to play in Game 6 as the Orlando Magic get punked by 5'9 Nate Robinson and the Boston Celtics. Seasons over and as I stated in the beginning of the year; anything less than the NBA Finals is a failure. Now who do you blame? First and foremost it starts at the Point Guard position. One could argue that Jameer was the only one scoring and helping us win the two games that we did. However, he is a Point Guard and not a shooting guard. Rafer Alston took us to the Finals last year because he never looked for his shot. He had a street toughness that we lacked this year. Jameer is tough, but not tough enough. He also lacks the skills to be a fluid point guard in this league. He comes off the screens to scared and slow.

Other Magic issues - Vince Carter! He Sucks and even when his game lacked the horrific shooting he laid down on defense. Vince Carter could care less about winning a championship - he will state otherwise, but deep down all he cares about is being likable by all his opponents.

Pietrus - never attacked the rim this post season as he did the last. Scared or mentally not tough enough doesn't matter he needs to be let go.

Rashard Lewis obviously isn't going anywhere with his ridiculous contract, but I recommend he go work out with a football team this off season to get tougher and not scared of getting hit.

Jason Williams - I love him, but he lacks the energy and quickness due to his knees and he needs to call it a career and become a Coach. We need a back up like Darryl Armstrong from the old Magic days.

Van Gundy - Let him go! He is a good coach, but it is going to take a guy all the players respect to coach all the weirdo millionaires on the Magic. Doc Rivers has respect because he played the game, and Van Gundy won't ever get the full respect of these guys.

Matt Barnes was supposed to be a tough guy for us and step up in the playoffs. I really don't even remember him playing, and if I can't remember you playing you obviously aren't doing a good job of being tough.

Marcin Gortat is making 5 million a year! For what? Trade him he obviously is not giving any extra effort when Dwight is in foul trouble.

J.J. Redick provides good energy, but he lacks the speed and quickness to be playing quality minutes in the NBA post season. Ray Allen showed us all that by making J.J. Redick look stupid. J.J. two words "Strength Shoes" live in those this off season. Get some bands and work on side to side movements.

Dwight Howard you couldn't ask for more out of this guy. Hopefully he just has a good Summer and works on his Free Throws and Post moves.
